Positive Aging: The Happy, Healthy Way to Grow Older
The world turns, and so do the pages of the calendar. Aging is inevitable, so why not make the most of it?

It’s a Guy Thing: Depression Affects Men, Too
If you feel sad, anxious, hopeless, or restless, it’s not just in your mind. These can be some signs of depression, a condition that affects more than 6 million U.S. men each year. While your instinct may be to keep these feelings to yourself, it’s important to recognize symptoms of depression and seek help immediately.

Take Steps to Avoid Falls
When you see people tumble on TV, it can be funny. But in reality, falling is no laughing matter. For older adults, especially, accidental falls can lead to serious injury, disability, and even death.

Eating Healthy at 60 and Beyond
We change over time. And our eating habits should, too. The recently released Dietary Guidelines for Americans, 2020-2025 address this by including life stages, like older adulthood, for the first time.

Drive Well as You Age
Americans love to drive. And that love affair with automobiles doesn’t fade as we get older. In fact, being able to drive plays a key role in older adults’ ability to maintain their independence as the years go by.

Take 3 Steps Toward Healthy Eating
We know we should eat more of what’s good for us and less of what’s not. But most Americans get too many calories and not enough nutrition in their daily diet, health experts claim. Here’s a simple three-step plan to help.

Pandemic Stress Has Taken a Toll on Teeth
Clenched teeth have long served as a telltale sign of stress. And as the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic continue to weigh on Americans, dentists are noticing a concerning trend.

Release Muscle Tension: Foam Rolling 101
Replace that expensive massage with a foam roller to release muscle tension.

Start a Fitness Journey—With Your Doctor’s Help
A famous saying notes that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. If you have a chronic health condition or disability, deciding that you’re ready to start exercising may be the first step. The next one should be talking with your healthcare provider.

Know the Signs: How to Spot Testicular Cancer
Unlike many other types of cancer where your risk climbs as you age, testicular cancer is most likely to strike when you’re in the prime of your life.

How to Take Inflammation Off Your Plate
Chronic inflammation. It’s a common villain in a host of health problems—from heart disease, diabetes, and obesity to cancer and dementia. And although all inflammation isn’t bad—it’s our body’s natural response to infection or injury—it can damage healthy cells when the immune system misfires and begins to attack the body.

The Hidden Health Risk for ‘Tough Guys’
In the U.S., men die by suicide at three and a half times the rate women do. And some face an even greater danger than others, new research finds.
